November 2023 fand in fand in Dubrovnik, Kroatien der diesj\u00e4hrige European Champions Cup statt, also quasi die Champions League f\u00fcr Bridge Teams. Dieses Jahr wurde auch erstmals der Champions Cup f\u00fcr Damen Teams ausgerichtet. F\u00fcr die Deutschen Damen trat Anna\u00efg Della Monta aus unserem Verein gemeinsam mit Gisela Smykalla (M\u00fcnchen), Ingrid Gromann (Regensburg), Karin Wenning (Bonn), Susanne Kriftner (Mannheim) und Mieke Plath (Neuk\u00f6lln) an.<\/p>\n<p>In der Vorrunde haben alle teilnehmenden Teams einmal gegeneinander gespielt. Hier gelang es dem deutschen Team, alle anderen Teams zu besiegen, teilweise sogar sehr deutlich. Nach den Eindr\u00fccken der Vorrunde war das deutsche Team nat\u00fcrlich Favorit, konnten die D\u00e4nen in der Vorrunde doch auf 14 Boards deutlich 35:9 besiegt werden. Leider lief es dann auf der langen Distanz von 32 Boards nicht so gut, so dass eine knappe Niederlage mit 73:85 heraussprang.<\/p>\n<p>Insofern ging es im kleinen Finale &#8222;nur&#8220; noch um Platz 3 auch \u00fcber die Distanz von 32 Boards. Hier konnte wieder an die Vorrunde angekn\u00fcpft werden, so dass die amtierenden Vizeweltmeisterinnen aus der T\u00fcrkei deutlich mit 100:56 besiegt wurden. Wir gratulieren Anna\u00efg und dem Team zu\u00a0 ihrer Bronzemedaille.
